A heat exchange circuit for air conditioning in an aircraft, comprises heat exchangers (7) for cooling electronic equipment; first and second heat transfer fluid (HTF) loops (1, 2), each with HTF reservoir(s) (11, 21), pumps (12, 22), tubing and cooling devices (6, 13; 10, 23); and auxiliary tubes (40, 41; 42, 43) connecting the loops and containing auxiliary valve(s) (4, 5). A heat exchange circuit, using heat transfer fluid (HTF), for air conditioning in an aircraft, comprises: (A) heat exchangers (7) for cooling heat-generating electronic equipment; (B) first and second HTF loops (1, 2), each comprising HTF reservoir(s) (11, 21), pumps (12, 22) for supplying the HTF from the reservoirs into the loops, tubing for conveying HTF between the loops and heat exchangers to carry out heat exchange and cooling devices (6, 13; 10, 23) connected in series in the loops between the reservoirs and the heat exchangers; and (C) auxiliary tubes (40, 41; 42, 43) connecting the first and second loops and containing auxiliary valve(s) (4, 5) for allowing or preventing passage of at least part of the HTF between the two loops. Independent claims are included for: (1) a corresponding heat exchanging method, involving circulating HTF in the first and second loops (1, 2) between the reservoirs (11, 21) and heat exchanger (7) to cool the electronic equipment; cooling the HTF in the first loop using the cooling devices (6, 13; 10, 23); and connecting the two loops via the auxiliary tubes (40, 41; 42, 43); and (2) an aircraft air conditioning system, comprising at least one heat exchange circuit as above; an air circuit for providing conditioned air to pressurized zones of the aircraft from air extracted from the engines; and at least one air conditioning unit, having a turbine for conditioning air in the circuit and associated with a vapor cycle comprising a closed loop in which is refrigerant is circulated to cool the HTF in the loops (1, 2) of the heat exchange circuits.
