The coupler has a female element (3) comprising a seal valve (45) extended by a tubular shaped retractable stop unit (32) that has two longitudinal slots creating longitudinal prongs (33). Each prong has a radial lug (34) forming a stop against an annular shoulder (40), and ends each forming a radial shoulder (35) of shape complementary to an annular ramp fitted at a nozzle of an adaptor (29). The prongs are introduced within the adaptor by deforming inwards under the push of the annular ramp against the shoulders (35).
