The car stabilizing method uses a central control unit which determines the total stabilizing couple applied to the front and rear wheel assemblies in a turn, resulting in the optimum distribution of stiffness between them. This allows the force applied to one of the inner wheels during the turn to be the minimum which prevents it from losing contact with the road. An independent claim is included for a steering system for use in the method.
