The device has diaphragm nozzles (1) integrated to an external ring (2) of a rolling bearing (20), whose internal ring (3) is connected in rotation with a synchronizer sleeve (5) mounted to an input shaft (21). The sleeve receives a clutch thrust collar (7) mounted on a hydraulic control device. A controller (70) has a module (71) to control magnetic field emitted by a magnetic sensor (40) and another module (72) to record disturbance of the field captured by a magnetic coder (30). A third module (73) uses the recorded disturbances to determine parameters of an engine e.g. speed of engine. An independent claim is also included for a method of measuring parameters of an engine in a clutch device.
