The device for extracting gas dissolved in a liquid and for measuring a total pressure of the gas, comprises a crude liquid supply conduit (5) leads into a confined chamber (2). The conduit is useful for distributing the crude liquid for a dispersion of gas present in the liquid in the chamber. A first end of a tube (3) opens in the chamber through which an excess liquid flows. The tube extends vertically. The tube is plunged into a pit (4) filled with liquid in which the pit is subjected to a second reference pressure. The device for extracting gas dissolved in a liquid and for measuring a total pressure of the gas, comprises a crude liquid supply conduit (5) leads into a confined chamber (2). The conduit is useful for distributing the crude liquid for a dispersion of gas present in the liquid in the chamber. A first end of a tube (3) opens in the chamber through which an excess liquid flows. The tube extends vertically. The tube is plunged into a pit (4) filled with liquid in which the pit is subjected to a second reference pressure so that the gas dispersed in the confined chamber cause a variation level of liquid inside the tube with respect to level of liquid inside the pit. The variation levels are directly proportional to the pressure of gas dissolved in the crude liquid. The first and/or the second pressure of reference are equal to an atmospheric pressure. The supply conduit is equipped with spraying device of crude liquid in the confined chamber in a form of droplets, and is arranged inside of the confined chamber so that the crude liquid is poured in cascade. The tube is associated with a pipe for collecting the bubbles. An open lower end of the pipe is located near the tube, and an open upper end of the pipe leads in the confined chamber, which is above the liquid level so that any gas bubbles caused by the liquid in the tube are captured by the pipe and recovered inside the confined chamber. The atmosphere of the confined chamber is connected to a bourdon/quartz of a water or mercury level manometer. The confined chamber is provided with an unit for analyzing the gas. An independent claim is included for a process of extracting a gas dissolved in a liquid and measuring a total pressure of the gas.
