The system has a prepaid card (2a) provided with a sound chip and an activation button activating the chip. An electronic payment and charging terminal (4a) is provided with an internal microphone. The terminal is connected via an Internet to an authentification and identification central server (5a). A transmission unit transmits the encrypted sound sequence in the form of Internet protocol datagram, where the sequence includes specific identifiers for each user e.g. customer (1a), and card. The sequence is issued by the card during the recharging and payment operations via the terminal. An independent claim is also included for a method for the remote recharge of the prepaid card.
