The method involves forming a prosthesis body formed of a large hacking part, a rod (20) and a prosthesis head (21) from aluminum alloy. A surface of the prosthesis body is coated with a chromium cobalt metallic layer (22) of variable thickness according to a determined prosthesis zone, and then is coated with a biocompatible ceramic layer (23). Thickness of each deposited layer is limited by spraying a very fine powder of chromium cobalt and ceramic. An independent claim is also included for a medical prosthesis for bone repair surgery.
