Topical parasiticide composition to treat, eliminate or prevent ectoparasitic infestation such as human louse, comprises alcohol, dark tobacco leaves and wild thyme (zaatar). Independent claims are included for: (1) a process of preparing the composition comprising mixing and macerating tobacco leaves and alcohol for 5-7 days at ambient temperature to obtain a dark black liquid, incorporating roots and branches of zaatar to the mixture at the third day of maceration, incorporating stems and flowers of zaatar at fifth-sixth day, optionally adding orange flower or its concentrate, intermixing the composition regularly e.g. once per day and pressing and fine filtering the preparation after completion of the maceration; and (2) the process for application of the composition comprising applying the composition on a clean zone to be treated and washing and rinsing with soap water or shampoo after leaving for 20-30 minutes. ACTIVITY : Antiparasitic. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
