The method involves incorporating food products to be spun into a water flow emerging into a rotary drum (20) of a spin dryer (2) such that the products are discharged with water at an interior of the drum, where the drum has a wall surrounded by a fixed cover (21). The water gathered in the cover is collected after centrifugation, and the water is recycled with a make-up water from an outer source such that the source serves to reproduce the water flow. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for supplying a food product into a spin dryer (2) a food product spinning and washing installation comprising a washer.
