The system has a central processing unit (10A) connected to a postal safety device (14) which provides a franking payment evidence for a destination postal service of a document e.g. mail item. The processing unit is adapted for controlling printing an individual mark (M) e.g. two dimensional bar code, on each page of the document and printing a franking mark (K) on a starting page (P1) of the document. The mark is made in a destination address zone of the page of the document. The device (14) is connected to a computing server (18) directly or via a communication network (16).
