The system consists of shoes (110) positioned round the outside of the missile (10), each fitted with an integral locking bar (120), and anti-movement locking pin (170) fixed to the silo (20) and applying a pressure selectively against the upper end of the locking bar. The lower surface of the shoe has a spring-loaded position adjusting rod (140) that fits into a cavity (10a) in the missile's outer surface.
