The circuit has a set of configuration cells forming a linear feedback shift register, and a logical interconnection circuit (200) with a set of connection cells (210a-210c), in which each cell includes a connection and combination unit. The unit is adapted to combine two data inputs of one of the connection cell and to apply the combining result on an output of the connection cell if an authentication signal (COM) is in an inactive state. The unit connects the data inputs to the data output of the connection cell when the authentication signal is in an active state. An independent claim is also included for a method for testing an electronic circuit.
