The case (10) has a frame (12) formed from sections (11) on which a set of panels (13) is fixed, where the panels define a crankcase door (13a). A hollow profiled joint (14) is provided between the sections of the frame and the panels. The joint has a sealing lip (15) formed by injection molding and a strip (16a) extended perpendicular to surfaces of the panels. The strip ensures support and bracing functions between the panels and sections of the frame.
