The assembly has a crosspiece forming a support for supporting loads, and two legs (3`, 3``) converging towards a height for forming reverse v-shape. The crosspiece is inclined by two leg assemblies (2), and each leg has half-jaws (5a, 5b) internally defining a housing (9). The half-jaws retain the crosspiece, and mobile with respect to each other for being connected or unconnected. The half-jaws are connected by a portion of a flexible partition (7), and the legs are transported and stored with respect to each other independent of the crosshead.
