The clip for holding sheets in position on a mattress has vertical needles (3) which are pressed into the mattress. A horizontal base plate (1) holds the sheets against its underside and a lip (2bis) at the top of a vertical plate (2) holds the top surface of the sheet in position. The lip fits over the points of the needles as a protector when the clip is not in use.
