The device (1) has a fixed guiding path (11) integrated to a chassis (2) in a direction parallel to a displacement plane (P`) and to a surface to be marked (S). A carriage (12) is adapted for being mobile in translation along the path. The carriage has an oscillating cradle which supports a point (5) and the cradle is adapted for pivoting with respect to the carriage along an axis parallel to a direction. The carriage has a motor (16) which drives the carriage in translation and a motor unit for driving the cradle in rotation.
