Fly-wheel parasitic torque compensating device for vehicle, has calculating unit providing compensation torque signal based on input signals of castor angle and external efforts of front axle to compensate effect of torque in fly wheel
The device has a calculating unit (34) for calculating a torque felt by a driver of a vehicle and providing a compensation torque signal based on an input signal of a castor angle of front wheels of the vehicle and an input signal of external efforts of a front axle of the vehicle so that the effect of a parasitic torque in a fly-wheel due to modification of the castor angle is compensated. An independent claim is also included for a method compensating torque variations in a fly-wheel due to modification of a castor angle of front wheels of a vehicle.
