The humidifier has a reservoir (1) closed at one end by a closure device (6) that includes an inner volume. The device has a conduit (10) establishing a fluid communication between the inner volume and an external volume of the humidifier. The device includes an orifice to establish a fluid communication between the inner volume and a humidifying object. A hydrophobic exchange interface is placed between the reservoir and the orifice for charging water vapor in the air contained in the inner volume and for forming a barrier for the passage of liquid from the reservoir towards the inner volume.
