The installation has a flexible electric cable (1) including a polymer outer envelope (8) enclosing two insulated conductors (3, 4), where the conductors have a plug-in connector and an electric apparatus i.e. luminaire, at respective ends. An outer casing has a polymer inner conducting layer (9) that is charged of conducting particles e.g. carbon. The connector has a connection socket that is connected to the ground, which is connected to the inner conducting layer. The inner conducting layer is disintegrated from an outer insulating layer of the envelope.
