A mobile autonomous unit for filtering vegetable oil after settling, comprises a wheel-mounted tank with a pump, circuit breaker and a meter on the outside and two filtration gradients in the tank, each with a series of six disposable cartridge filters made of braided polypropylene fibre with toric joints and caps and with mesh sizes decreasing from 100 to 1-3 microns, followed by a water trap, these components being connected by piping and individualised by cut-off valves.
