The device (1) has a carrier element (3) for retaining a metal thread (10) that permits to retrograde a moving body such as stone. A power dissipation loop (20) has a chain shaped fusible wire connected to hitching elements of the carrier element. Length of the wire is sensibly lower than the length of the carrier element, between the hitching elements, when the device is at rest, so that the wire absorbs whole or part of energy generated by the body when the carrier element is subjected to a force due to the body. The hitching elements connect the wire to the carrier element.
