The device has connection chips (11) positioned freely on fixations (4) e.g. threaded rod, of a wavy metal or asbestos-cement support (1) and including oblong holes pierced on a longitudinal axis of the chips. Omega profiles (6) are introduced into the chips parallel to purlins of a metallic frame and are fixed on the chips by a drywall screw, where the profiles and the chips are identical. A metal sheet is installed on the profiles and forms a new insulated or non-insulated covering.
