The fascia (10) has a shutter (18) closing an opening of a support (12) carrying a foam layer (14) that carries a skin (16). A membrane (26) is fixed near an edge of the opening, such that the membrane is found inside the fascia before functioning of an air bag. The membrane has a dimension larger than a thickness of the fascia, and a flexibility for bending around the edge to contact the skin. The membrane is made of a thermoplastic sheet or fibrous material and has a relationship between its mechanical resistance and friction coefficient with a surface adjacent to the support`s side.
