The connector for supplying medical fluids, e.g. gases, to patients comprises a tubular casing (1) with a valve (13) which is biased towards a valve seat (12) by a spring (24) fitted around the valve stem. The valve is mounted in a sleeve (9) with two chambers (10, 11) and moves up and down in the lower chamber. This has an aperture (26) in its base which is of smaller diameter than the valve. The spring is fastened by one of its extremities to the valve.
