The pump has a hollow housing chamber that includes an air inlet (211) on bottom of a housing, and a base (2) coupled with a pad (3) in an upper side and fastened to an upper cap (1) for forming a casing of the air pump. An outer shell (11) and an inner shell are spaced from each other to form a housing compartment which contains a filter chamber. A bottom tray (5) has a housing trough (51) and two connection ducts (531, 532) on top, and a muffling chamber is provided on the bottom beneath the ducts. The ducts are covered by a lid (59), and an air pump assembly (4) includes an air pump set.
