The servomotor (1) has a movable partition or transversal apron (4) mounted in a rigid cover (2), and integrated to a control body (8). A control rod (12) actuated by a brake pedal (13) is axially displaced in the control body against an elastic restoring force. A piston (11) slides in the body between the control rod and a push rod (7) of a master cylinder (3). The pedal has a driving unit (17) for transmitting an actuating force to an end of the control rod. The end is housed in a hub (9) of the body and includes a plate in the form of a disc (18) mounted to axially slide in the hub.
