The handset has a mouthpiece (2) associated with an acoustic processing unit. An earphone (3) is moved with respect to a loud-speaker (4) towards a longitudinal end of the handset to maintain a maximal distance between the earphone and the mouthpiece. A high pass filter having capacitors connects the earphone to an amplifying unit of the loud-speaker. A connection circuit connects another amplifying unit to the earphone and has switches arranged above the filter.
