A holder for thimbles for use in monitoring pigeons returning from a race

The holder comprises a receptacle (a) for thimbles and a finger mount for attaching the rack to a finger (Figure 3). The hand held fitted rack is used in the pigeon racing profession. The thimbles are a smooth fit. The finger mount is a single ring attached to the base of the receptacle or is made of a flexible acrylic plastic material and consists of a ring, but not joined together to allow it to be fitted to a wide variety of finger sizes. The main advantage is that it allows the pigeon fancier both hands to be free and easily accessible, whilst still being able to clock in returning race pigeons from a race. The holder has the advantage of being reusable time after time with the same set of thimbles.
