A fitting comprising parts 1 with channels 4 that can be adjusted to fit and grip a range of sizes of linear members by the use of elastomeric bands 6 that are stretched between hooks 3 and arranged to at least partially occupy the space between the fitting and the linear member 2. Smaller sizes of linear member requiring the use of elastomeric bands with larger cross-sectional size. When assembled, the linear member 2 may be trapped within two opposing channels 4.
