METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR TREATING AMMONIA NITROGEN-CONTAINING WASTE WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, an apparatus and a system for treating ammonia nitrogen-containing waste water, in each of which ammonia nitrogen in waste water can be inexpensively and surely removed.;SOLUTION: A liquid mixture obtained by mixing the ammonia nitrogen-containing waste water with sulfuric acid is heated to evaporate the water contained in the liquid mixture. The solid of the ammonium sulfate precipitated in the liquid mixture by evaporating the water is separated by solid-liquid separation and the separated solid is recovered. Since the ammonia nitrogen-containing waste water is treated like this, ammonia nitrogen can inexpensively and surely be removed from the ammonia nitrogen-containing waste water. The apparatus and the system for treating ammonia nitrogen-containing waste water like this are useful when ammonia nitrogen is inexpensively and surely removed from the ammonia nitrogen-containing waste water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
