PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly materialize accurate detection of vehicle speed and inhibition of increase of engine speed caused by idle speed control (ISC) abnormality without complicating a structure.;SOLUTION: A vehicle speed sensor 42 detects a rotational speed of a rear wheel 3. A throttle valve 18 is positioned downstream of an intake pipe 15. An idle speed control device 9 controls amount of air flowing through the intake pipe to perform an idle speed control. An electronic control unit (ECU) 7 detects an abnormality of the idle speed control (ISC) device 9 based on an intake pipe pressure.
