PRUNING IMPLEMENT AND RIDING TYPE TEA GARDEN-TENDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive pruning implement and a riding type tea garden-tending machine of a simple structure responsive to each of light pruning, deep pruning and medium pruning operations of a tea garden with one unit without pressing management of farm household.;SOLUTION: The pruning implement 200 is equipped with a rotating type cutter 30 arranged in the lower part of a frame 20 so as to be located at the front and a clipper type cutter 40 and a transporting apparatus 50 installed so as to be located at the rear. Thick branches are cut with rotating blades 31 and 32 of the rotating cutter 30 and a fixed blade 33 to carry out rough pruning. Pruned wastes by the rough pruning are sent flying toward a site of a screw conveyor located at the rear of the rotating blades with the rotating blades 31 and 32, transported and discharged between ridges. Slender twigs of several mm size remaining after the rough pruning are nipped between reciprocating clipper blades 41 and 42 of the clipper type cutter 40 and cut to perform finish pruning.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
