PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of nanoparticles at ambient temperature with simplicity and efficiency by using organometallic compound as a raw material and to provide its product.;SOLUTION: In the production method of metal compound nanoparticles of nanometer size, organometallic compound raw material membrane of a precursor film-formed on a substrate is irradiated with UV ray of 200 nm wavelength to produce particles and increase particle size and finally to attain production of nanoparticles of nanometer size grain diameter and a nanoparticle membrane is also provided. By this invention, nanoparticles of nanometer size with controlled grain diameter and a nano-crystalline membrane can be produced at a low temperature, especially at room temperature.
