PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis model creation method efficiently and accurately defining a contact face necessary for an analysis model of simulation using a finite element method.;SOLUTION: This analysis model creation method for analysis by the finite element method has a step for previously defining the contact face in a face in contact with another component to a component model that is a three-dimensional model of each component, combining the plurality of component models whose contact faces are defined to create an assembly model, dividing the assembly model into meshes, and deciding whether or not the contact face defined in the component model and the contact face defined in the other component model pared therewith are disposed to the assembly model correspondingly to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
