PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device in which a proper image can be obtained without occurrence of streaky irregularities and fogging, even in a compact developing device that uses by replenishing developer.;SOLUTION: The developing device 16 is constituted to include a first partition 51 which partitions the inside of the developing device 16 into a developer supply section 59 and a developer storage section 60; a second partition 52 which partitions the inside of the developer storage section 60 into a first hopper chamber 60a and a second hopper chamber 60b; one or more first openings 51a formed in the first partition 51 so as to move the developer; one or more second openings 52a, which are formed in the second partition 52 so as to move the developer; a first stirring member 56 which is provided in the first hopper chamber 60a, stirs the developer and supplies it to the second hopper chamber 60b through the second openings 52a; and a second stirring member 57 which is provided in the second hopper chamber 60b, stirs the developer and supplies it to the developer supply section 59 through the first openings 51a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
