PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-type pull printing system which facilitates maintenance of a print job issuing function, and can appropriately perform an instruction in a print condition set in an image forming apparatus.;SOLUTION: The push-type pull printing system comprises a server and the image forming apparatus, and makes the image forming apparatus perform print processing by issuing, from the server to the image forming apparatus, a print job in which print data and an instruction command for a print condition therefor are described. The image forming apparatus receives input of the print condition, and before transmission to the server, converts (S1520) the print condition into an instruction command of description language analyzable by the image forming apparatus, and transmits it to the server (S1521). The server receives the instruction command after conversion from the image forming apparatus, and issues, to the image forming apparatus, a print job including the instruction command as the instruction command for the print condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
