PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an information processing method, a program, a data identification device, and a data mining device for efficiently deleting a prototype unnecessary for identification, and for achieving the saving of a memory capacity and acceleration of an identification speed. PSOLUTION: This information processor is provided with: a nearest prototype selection means 32 for, on the basis of a class level showing a class to which a prototype of interest is belonging, selecting the nearest prototype from all prototypes belonging to any class other than the class of the prototype of interest from the class of the prototype of interest; and a prototype deletion means 33 for deleting the prototype when the prototype which has not been selected by the nearest prototype selection means 32 is included in the class of interest.
