PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently acquire information desired by a user in a virtual society system and a virtual society providing device using an avator.;SOLUTION: The virtual society system is configured of a service providing center constructing a virtual society and a plurality of user PC connected through a network to the service providing center. A user who uses the virtual society prepares user information showing the appearance features and personal features of the user in member registration. The user information includes, for example, type of physique, face, habit and taste of the user. The user can browse the user information of another user by transmitting the display request of the user information to a server when communicating with the other user.
