PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately, quickly and easily classifying the genotype of PCV2.;SOLUTION: A genotype classification method for type 2 porcine circovirus gene includes the detection of the presence or absence of the cleavage site with one or more restriction enzymes selected from the group consisting of AvaII, BamHI, ClaI, AccI, NdeI and MboII in the gene of type 2 porcine circovirus; the above classification method includes the detection of the presence or absence of the above cleavage site in ORF2 of the type 2 porcine circovirus gene; and the genotype classification method performs the detection of the presence or absence of the cleavage site by PCR-RFLP method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
