3D SHAPE CALCULATION DEVICE OF SAR IMAGE, AND DISTORTION CORRECTION DEVICE OF SAR IMAGE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate shape estimation relative to an SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) image, and to perform correction of layover of the SAR image. PSOLUTION: A 3D shape of the SAR image is estimated by using as input images, two or more SAR images imaging the same spot, acquired by imaging with changed squint angles from the same direction. Foreshortening and optical falling are corrected based on the estimated 3D shape and the input images, and brightness of a pixel after correcting a distortion is calculated from correlation of corresponding points in a plurality of input images, to thereby correct the layover.
