SHUT-IN FOREIGN MATTER DETECTING DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect that foreign matters such as thin and soft strings is shut in an elevator door.;SOLUTION: This shut-in foreign matter detecting device comprises a foreign matter holding part formed of a soft material and installed over an almost all height between the opposed faces of door stop portions which abut on each other during closing the elevator door for holding soft foreign matters when existing between the opposed faces during closing the elevator door, a foreign matter detecting part 11 installed on one door stop portion so as to be controlled to protrude over the almost all height from the opposed faces onto the other door stop portion after closing the elevator door for contacting the foreign matters when existing, and a foreign matter check means installed on the other door stop portion for determining the check of closing the elevator door depending on the contact or not with the foreign matter detecting part 11 in an allowable time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
