PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gap of a placement position of an inkjet head unit at the time of maintenance of an inkjet head in which a plurality of the inkjet head units each having a plurality of ejection ports for ejecting ink liquid droplets formed in an array shape in an ejection port plate are arranged at a supporting frame with an arrangement direction of the ejection ports agreed with each other.;SOLUTION: The maintenance device of the inkjet head is equipped with a supporting plate disposed opposite to the supporting frame of the inkjet head; a plurality of removing units each of which is equipped with a suction member at a surface opposed to the ejection ports having slit-shaped suction openings formed with an arrangement direction made a longitudinal direction, and each of which is disposed at a position corresponding to each of the plurality of inkjet head units on the supporting frame side of the supporting plate; and a positioning member formed in the supporting plate to position the supporting plate and the plurality of removing units to the supporting frame at a position in contact with the supporting frame where the corresponding removing unit and head unit are opposed and non-contact to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
