PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mah-jong system with which players can contest without sense of incongruity and which can carry out mah-jong tile hand record, point calculation, and illegal action detection.;SOLUTION: Players contest with mah-jong tiles 5 including non-contact IC tags 41 at a mah-jong table 3 and the like having non-contact reader-writers 51 in four piles 7, four rivers 9, four hand-tile depots 11, four open tile depots 13 and one special tile depot 15.
