PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-situ cleaning method of contaminated ground or contaminated ground water capable of sufficiently cleaning the contaminated ground or the contaminated ground water in situ.;SOLUTION: The in-situ cleaning method of the contaminated ground or the contaminated ground water is a method for cleaning the contaminated ground or the contaminated ground water contaminated by an organic halogen compound by anaerobic microorganisms having the degradation activity of the organic halogen compound existing in the contaminated ground or the contaminated ground water in situ.
