PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter inspection device and a printed matter inspection method, which prevents flutter of a printed matter by allowing the printed matter to adhere close to an impression cylinder at the inspection time.;SOLUTION: The printed matter inspection device 1 blows out the air 31 sideward at an angle to the printed matter 10 from the first air blower 4, to thereby spread the printed matter 10 sideward from a center part on the impression cylinder 2. Then, the printed matter inspection device 1 allows the first roller 5 to abut on both side ends of the printed matter 10, to thereby press both side ends of the printed matter 10 onto the impression cylinder 2. Thereafter, the printed matter inspection device 1 blows out the air 33 in the vertical direction over the whole width of the printed matter 10 from the second air blower 6, to thereby allow the printed matter 10 to adhere close to the impression cylinder 2. The printed matter inspection device 1 starts inspection by imaging the printed matter 10 by an imaging part 8. When the printed matter 10 slips out of each domain of the first air blower 4, the first roller 5 and the second air blower 6, the printed matter inspection device 1 allows the second roller 7 to abut on the rear end of the printed matter 10, to thereby press it onto the impression cylinder 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
