PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition and a decorative finishing method which can perform an aggregate-exposed decorative finishing capable of exposing a beautiful aggregate in dry condition by removing excess pseudo set cement paste or mortar as it is without using a large amount of water.;SOLUTION: The coating composition for aggregate-exposed finishing consists of the beautiful aggregate and a cement paste, and is expressed by formula (1): Vm=Vaϕ(1+k) (wherein, Vm is the volume of the cement paste or mortar including an undercoating amount on the surface of a body to be coated; Va is the volume of the beautiful aggregate; ϕ is the void ratio of the beautiful aggregate defined by JIS A 1104; and k is a coating work factor being a numerical value between 0.00 and 0.50).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
