PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a tunnel capable of avoiding interference with a clearance limit space by enlarging a hollow space in the tunnel by reducing the size of a segment structure of a ceiling slab and a floor slab comprising vertically adjacent branch/merging sections of the tunnel, and to provide a proper method to construct it.;SOLUTION: In a tunnel structure having substantially vertically and adjacently arranged tunnel branch/merging sections, each of which is formed by horizontally connecting tunnels adjacent to each other in the ground by using the ceiling slab positioned at the upper part and the floor slab positioned at the lower part, the floor slab of the tunnel structured on the upper side and the ceiling slab of the tunnel structured on the lower side are connected to each other by a tension resistant member.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
