PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for searching a database for reducing table accesses. PSOLUTION: In the method for searching a database, the database is provided with a plurality of records stored in a computer readable device; each of the plurality of records comprising one or more of the plurality of documents; an index file comprising a plurality of device identifiers; each of the device identifier comprising a plurality of parameters identifiers; and each of the parameter identifier having real time value. The method for searching the database comprises the steps for: selecting a device associated with the device identifier; selecting a parameter identifier associated with the selected device; receiving a search query comprising search criteria of the database; searching the database in response to the search query; and displaying records satisfying the search criteria.
