PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct by setting an appropriate drawing range of a graph of a function expression during editing of a program.;SOLUTION: A mathematical equation arithmetic unit 1 is equipped with; a drawing range storage means 7 which stores a drawing range; a program edit mode setting means 20 to set up a program edit mode; a function expression input means 21-23 to input a function expression in a program edit mode; a graph drawing instruction input means 23 to input an instruction to perform drawing of a graph of a function expression in the program edit mode; a drawing range determination means 8 to determine whether a part or all of graph is displayed within the range of drawing; a drawing range resetting means 8 to reset the drawing range where a part or all of graph is displayed when it is determined that the graph cannot be displayed within the range of drawing; and a drawing range re-storing means 8 which associates the drawing range to a corresponding function expression to overwrite and make it stored when the drawing range is re-set.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
