LAYER 2 LOAD BALANCING SYSTEM, LAYER 2 LOAD BALANCER, AND LAYER 2 LOAD BALANCING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layer 2 load balancing system capable of attaining the exclusion of influence on a case of not less than IP protocol and broadband load balancing processing by reducing processing, and reducing a setting work which is required by the manager of a load balancer in the attainment.;SOLUTION: The layer 2 load balancer 1 responds to an inquiry by an ARP protocol from a network 100 through the use of the MAC address M1 of the distributor 1. The balancer 1 learns the MAC address M2 of each server 2 by inquiring by the MAC address M2 intrinsic to each server 2 with the use of the ARP protocol, and also learns the number of the connected servers 2 by analyzing the response. When the servers 2 solves an IP address in the network 100, the response to an ARP request is transmitted to the MAC address M1 of the layer 2 load balancer 1.
